Pernille Brøndum, MSc
Physiotherapist
Pernille, a physiotherapist, has wide experience working with patients dealing with musculoskeletal issues and neurological challenges. She has worked in both private clinics and rehabilitation practices, where hydrotherapy was one of the primary treatment. After earning her Physiotherapist authorization Pernille decided she wanted to learn even more so in 2021, she earned her Master’s degree in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy from Aalborg University in Denmark.
During her studies, Pernille collaborated with a family associated with The Family Hope Center, which sparked/piqued her interest in neurological brain development. Despite initial skepticism, witnessing remarkable results up close amazed her. She briefly explored a research department at Aalborg University but ultimately preferred clinical work. Consequently, she joined the Family Hope Center team in July 2022.
Based in Aalborg, Denmark, Pernille assists and guides families across Europe. Specifically, she supports Danish families with applications, municipality contacts, and serves as a quick point of contact for families and other collaboration partners. Pernille is certified in using the Mulligan and McKenzie methods, and she recently obtained certification for the Movement ABC and Sensory Profile measuring tool to accommodate our Danish families.
