Jennifer teams with the parents to find effective ways to guide and discipline their children, while also building strong family relationships. They develop a plan based on a clear understanding of their children’s brain-based abilities, using the Integrated Developmental Program Chart. She helps parents conquer behavior obstacles that interfere with integrating therapeutic protocols into their daily routines. She has special expertise in supporting parents of children diagnosed with autism and other social challenges, carefully considering each child’s unique way of understanding and operating in the world.

She has worked with parents and children for more than 35 years. Before joining the Family Hope Center in 2010, she worked with families in a variety of medical, mental health, and educational settings. She holds an M.S. in Education from Bank Street College of Education. She is a graduate of the Infant-Parent Mental Health Fellowship at the University of Massachusetts, Boston. She has been certified as a consultant in Relationship Development Intervention® and has trained in the Social Stories™ method, both of which support children diagnosed with autism.
